Katawano (spelled "Kata W'ano") translates to cover your mouth in the Twi (Akan) dialect. Katawano was launched to help fight COVID-19 and aims to spread joy through fashion and culture. Made with traditional and authentic Ankara fabrics and handmade by skilled Ghanaian seamstresses, Katawano Masks are a stylish solution for those who love and embrace African culture.
The goal of this project was to develop a brand and launch an ecommerce store.
